How do I find my attachment or see HTML emails?
We are working on attachment and HTML support now and it will be out soon.
For a short workaround you can send your email through another service like Gmail then forward them on to Mailroom. Then you can pick up any attachments and view HTML there.
What happens to the messages after I reply to or close them?
When an email has been replied to it disappears from the Needs Attention page for 2 days or until it is a reply is received back. If the message is closed it is archived and will not return to the Needs Attention page unless it is reopened or another reply is received on the same conversation. Of course all of these messages can easily be found in the All Messages page.
How do I delete my email?
Email is not deleted but archived in Mailroom. If you no longer wish to see an email in your Needs Attention page just close the conversation. All email can be easily found searching the All Messages page.
I already have canned messages. How can I import them into Mailroom?
If you already have responses written they can be put into Mailroom in two ways. First is to copy and paste the response into the reply window while replying to an email. This is recommend as it teaches Mailroom what types of email to associate with this response. The other method is to click on Saved Replies page then click the New Saved Reply button in the upper right corner. You can paste your reply in here.
What is the best way to find an email?
The easiest way to find any message is to click on the all messages button. From there you have the option to filter your results or just use the search field.
How do I access my address book?
Currently contacts that Mailroom grabs from the incoming email are stored on the “People” page. You will also find the other people using mailroom as well as an option to add new contacts. If you click on any of the contacts you will be taken the new email composition page.
Is there any way to add addresses of the people who sent us an email?
Actually Mailroom should have already done the for you. If for some reason the contact info didn’t show up you can click on the “People” link and add contact information manually.
Where are my mailboxes?
Mailroom uses a more efficient way to organize and keep track of email called Tagging. See the entry on Tagging for more information
How do I add more users?
To add more users to your account click on the preferences link under the logo on the top left. Then click “Other Users” and “Invite New User.” An email will be sent inviting the new person to be added to your account.
What printing options are there? can I save emails as a pdf?
Currently there are no printing options in Mailroom other than printing the entire screen or copying and pasting into another document. Printing and saving options are on the short list to be added.
